The lighter Weight provides an added advantage when using plastic tumbling media for light metals and acrylics. 

One can use this media for general purpose metal removal, pre-plate finishing and moderate cutting.

It is also considered suitable for brass and aluminium deburring or smoothing plastic parts. One can also use it for secondary surface smoothing of hard metal parts once they have undergone ceramic media deburring process.

Recently however, the use of plastic tumbling media has become more common in finishing die casting parts and machined parts, owing to its non-chipping and non-cracking feature.

Plus, compared to ceramic media, it offers better surface refinement and inflicts less damage on metal surface. Thus, one can get metal surfaces ready for electroplating, anodizing and even painting.

Porcelain Balls

Porcelain balls are utilized to achieve bright finishes without the use of steel media. Because of its shape, it imparts a single point of contact resulting in a very fine finish to almost any area it can reach. Porcelain balls will not leave impingement marks that steel media produces on some softer metals and/or flat surfaces. Their lighter weight lessens the distortion potential for lighter work and wire forms. Very popular for delicate parts, fine edge blanking and precious metal burnishing. 

zirconia beads are made of high-grade and nanometre Yttria Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ) which is proudly produced by our own facility in large and homogenous batches. This advanced precursor material guarantees excellent mechanical properties, outstanding wear resistance and good corrosion resistance. This high density bead is used to achieve maximum milling results at minimum product contamination rates.

Corn cob media is commonly used in the metal finishing industry. Metal stampings, moulded plastics, and die castings lend themselves to deburring, deflashing, burnishing and polishing in corn cob. It can also be used as a drying media in vibratory and rotary dryers. Corn cob media is corn cob crushed to a particle size that is very effective at removing tarnish from and metal components specially brass. Corn cob media is an environmentally friendly product that is long lasting and reusable. Corn cob media is best used in a vibratory polisher when polishing components specially Brass. The rapid vibrating action in the tumbler allows the corn cob media to better clean the inside of the components because the media is constantly being shaken inside the shell case.
